This Saturday sees the return of Howfenfest - with The Jade Assembly returning to the stage, this year as main support. Last year was a great day - fun for all the family so be sure to get there this weekend, apparently it's going to be sunny (so pack lenty of cold Stellas) but don't quote us on that!

No, not that guy from Bross, we said Gough - of Fragile Audio fame. Mat joins the band as a guitarist and getaway driver, for an undisclosed fee from Fragile Audio, the band he founded and spent the last seven years with.
Mat's lawyer read the following statement, written in his own words: "Joining The Jade is pivotal in my career path, I aim to use my full skill set to meet their objectives for this fiscal year." It was either that or "I'm chuffed to bits"
Seriously though, the lads and label welcome Mat to the party, those of us lucky enough to hear them in rehearsals so far know how good this is for the band and look forward to seeing him in action at the Roadhouse gig, don't miss that one!
When I was younger so much younger than today, I never needed anybodies help in any anyway. But, you see even John needed help eventually. But La Maison Rouge was not invented then, well now it is and any other musicians can hopefully call on us to help them (in any way).

The new label maybe called Maison Rouge, we may be based at Redbridge Studios, we may all support Man Utd, but why on earth did you have to go an paint a 6x12 foot room RED!
So finally Neil has put his hand in his (very deep) pocket and got the studio painted.. hurrah! But to be honest, it's maybe a bit erm.. beige now? Anyway, we took this photo a few weeks ago, there's no photoshop giggery pokery here, it's just the red walls changin Neil's skin tone!
We will miss the redroom. not.
